Ken, if the LCD panel will support that resolution, then yes.  You need to
understand that as far as the computer is concerned, you're hooking up a
normal monitor to it.  It doesn't know squat about LCD panels. :)  
The output device is the limiting factor here.  If it won't do 1024x768
then you can't use it with F4/SP2.
