Well Bob, I guess you get the title of "Old Man." LOL

I flew B-52s out of Thailand, Euta Pow <-- I know it is spelled wrong, but
I'll be damn if I remember how to spell it. in 1972 and Anderson AFB, Guam
in late '73-74. I missed most of the bad stuff. I have 22 combat missions,
all in the South. Most didn't officially happen. LOL

I remember Puff and Sandy. Had a good friend who flew the A1. I also had a
good friend from pilot school and another, a frat brother, who flew O2s. I
rode with one of them once when I visited him up-country. Use to take the
Hueys and "Klong Hoppers" (C-130) to visit friends.

I was lucky. I never was shot or had to jump out of an airplane. Only had
a half dozen "no-shit" emergencies in some 2500 hours. Most serious was a
BLU (Boundary Layer Control) failure in and F4C that I picked up from the
depot at Hill AFB. Lost a few engines, alternators and such.... no big
deal. I once set a field on fire when one of my engines decided to give up
its guts on take-off and sent numerous pieces of nice hot metal out the
exhaust and into the field.

John
