The female body's ability to tolerate higher G force is mostly due the
proximity of the brain to the heart. It is a general rule of thumb and not
an absolute.
As to favoring the production of X chromosome over Y chromosomes, who knows.
Has there been any scientific study on this or is it an old "wives tale"?
