It is great to see someone interested in building telescopes, I thought
perhaps I was one of the few nut cases in the world that would still do
something like that. While I dislike the Dobsonian method The practical
world information one can learn from building a telescope is incredible.

As you have already learned this is an engineering problem not to be taken
lightly.

Best of luck to you in building a telescope, things are looking up.<snicker>
