Hi, Folks!

We finally have a go for launch on the F-16 gauges!!!

   If you go to:

http://www.dtsims.com/gauges.htm

You'll see the initial line up and prices for each gauge. they are priced
by body size.

You can order these directly through Desk Top Sims. There is no minimum
order, so you can buy what you can afford at the rate you can afford them.

Please note, these are very high quality instruments made out of machined
T6061 aluminum, just like the real thing. They also are back lit using a 5
volt bus. This includes the needle. You won't be disappointed.

The only real difference between my gauges and the real F-16 gauges is, mine
are very easy to interface to the PC since they use a popular RC Servo to
drive them. Needles are able to move a full 360 degrees.

I am currently evaluating an electronic module that will drive these gauges.
It is made by Chester and will drive as many as 8 servos from one board. It
interfaces to the PC using USB and can be found at:

http://www.phidgets.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?exact_match=yes&product=Serv
os&cart_id=4761902.15023

The 8 servo board costs $65!

The connection on the back of the gauge is a common 4-pin mic connector
available at Radio Shack or other electronics stores.

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.

Regards,

Marv
