[simpits-tech] VOR Resolver to FS2002 question

Question out to all for their two cents

After I ripped apart a VOR to see how I can use it in my simulator, i
have a question.
The OBS knob controlles the OBS disk and rotates a resolver to output
postion infomation
back to the nav controller.

Here is what I was going to do------A rotary switch labeled OBS through
the keyboard
senting data to FS2002 and then FS2002 senting position data out to
controling a
stepper motor to rotate the OBS dial as I turned the OBS knob.

BUT - now I would like to keep the VOR like it is now and sent the OBS
resolver info
direct to FS2002 and have it update FS2002 to the position it is in now.

Question is ---- how to do this? Use a ADC?

Any ideas out there
