Yup.

Been experimenting with FreeGEM on FreeDOS 1.3 recently, but sadly the
version in the FreeDOS distro is misconfigured and broken. I haven't
had the time to have a proper look at fixing it, and Shane's batch
files are rather overlong and overcomplicated. I'm amazed nobody
noticed; there's even a video on Youtube showing the broken setup.

Easy workaround: map a virtual drive to the GEM directory. It's
expecting and needs to be in root, but doesn't seem to care what
letter.

FreeDOS has a weird replacement for SUBST I can't remember but it's
something like this in standard DOS format:

subst g: c:\opengem
g:
gem
