I've just been thinking.  Yeah, I know.

I'm not much of a programmer, but I just was experimenting with getting a 
couple WatTCP (Watt-32 actually) tools working on QEMU, and I was musing 
about the possibility of various Internet tools (such as telnet, ftp and 
irc) for GEM.  It seems feasible and would be principally limited by the
