i had trouble with setting up my wlan card with ubuntu though, it may
just be that there is not a linux native driver for it, but i ended up
installing ndiswrapper and going through all of that stuff :D it works
brilliantly though! - only thing that stops me from using linux as my
main computing environment, is (1) the fact that there isn't an
official msn messenger release for linux (i know there is amsn but it
just doesn't have the same features ;( ); and (2) the fact that my
games would not run on it! - which is a big part of what i basically
do on my computer. along with just browsing :)

anyway - i hope that wine advances to have dx9 support, and then i
will almost certainly go over to using linux, as i DID get msn 7.0 (i
think) running fine under wine before - but it just wasn't the same
