This idea has one big problem: a DOS based PC has not enough resources
to emulate a ST. If you have a smaller Atari, you can have a minimum
of 1 MB RAM. Ataris with less RAM are not much used. The GEM system of
Atari ST has newer functions which are not available on PC/GEM. Look
at a modern Atari system with NVDI, NAES or XaAES, ... and underlying
MiNT kernel for multitasking. And you need much more than DOS and
PC/GEM.
