  Google for 'gemvdi', and this comes quite high up the list:

  which only knows of GEMVDI as part of something called 'lernprogramm':

<ftp://ftp.belwue.de/belwue/software/lernprogramm/>

  including documentation in German. Any German-speakers care to take a look
and see what this is? Presumably another one of these VDI-only programs.
