With GEMini Release 3 and OpenGEM Release 4, installing anything new is as
simple as putting it in a directory, and starting GEM. It will
automatically detect the new software, and install it after prompting you.
So if people want to try different desktops, AES software or VDI software,
it's going to be really easy. Depending on package availability, of course.
But packages are just zipfiles with the directory structure inside. They're
really quick and easy to make.
