Well Peter,
I see that your home network is up and running fine.
You're excused when we don't hear anything from down under, then your'e
a proud babysitter then.
A little survey in a newspaper in Holland shows that we take an average
8 minutes per day to take care of our pets.
Take a bit more time for the dog, and you won't get in the newspaper in
a negative way ;-)
At the moment my network consists of a PII-400 Mhz Pentium with 320 Mb
RAM (my wifes computer)
a 166 Mhz 64 Mb RAM compaq with a dead battery (lots of
startup-problems, like his owner)
A 200 Mhz Pentium with 128 Mb stuffed with OS/2 warp 4 fixpak 15
all connected via a 10/100 switch with cables (very easy if it is all on
the attick).
On the switch is a broadband router connected for the internet
connection. For 14,95 Euro per month flatfee I got an ADSL-link 512
up/1600 Down (last opgrade on macrh 1st)
Awaiting to be connected is a 3,8 Ghz 1Gb RAM machine with Suze Linux
version 9
and a DOS machine.
For the latter I am looking for DOS netwotking programs. I want this
machine to be set up with GEM and some networking tools (DOS)
Who can help me in this?
Have Fun
Armand
