Whoops.  I found what was wrong with SETTING.APP.  I'd forgotten to
copy GEMSET.RSC from the zip archive containing the application and
the source.

However, the problem with RCS.APP and freezing when saving files in
WindowsXP remains.  This problem occurs far less frequently when using
FreeDOS.
