No idea what it's from, but that is a very cool seat! I wish I could
run across stuff like this...maybe I need to get out more. :P

My guess is probably as good as anyone else's: hardened C&C center in a
subterranean installation, probably a missile silo, 1960s-1980s era
(rough guess based on colors). There are lots of springs and apparent
hinged things, but the seat doesn't seem to fold, which indicates it's
supposed to handle shock. It's obviously strong and well padded, but
seems to lack seatbelt provisions, which rules out most uses in a
moving/flying/floating vehicle. 

OTOH, the tapered seat back gives it a cool Star Trek feel...maybe it's
from the future. :)
