I'm certainly not a legal expert, but something for the Falconeers to look into, as I understand it any song that is changed at least 33% is a new song. So the original artist of a song that has been changed by at least 33% has no rights to it. This was ruled back in the late 70's early 80's with weird al and some other comedians that made profit by changing a song and made profit from doing it. 

So if it was me I would at least change at least 33% of the program, maybe just change the menus and graphics. Just like those songs where it basic beat/rhythm/ aka engine of the song remained the same and just the lyrics changed.

Which of the many forks out there is the "most" current and active?
