Yeah, about 6-7 years ago I think was the last attempt and it failed.
Only the hard core guys bought a copy then it fizzled.

BMS is the version you want.  Most advanced coding, multi-player is
seamless now.  Amazing stuff.  Graphics still a bit dated.  But we got a
pit to the guy who codes the pit stuff and I make him goodies any chance I
get knowing if it¹s in his pit and doesn¹t work because the software
doesn¹t support itŠI know that¹s a great motivator to add those functions.
