I got my Oculus Rift DK2 in today.  (http://www.oculusvr.com if you've 
been living in a cave with no internet access.)

OH. MY. GOD.

The desktop demo was interesting.

The Tuscany Demo was neat.

The CyberSpace demo was cute.

War Thunder?  AMAZEBALLS.

I'm dropped into the default P-26A Peashooter and I'm goggling around like 
a Japanese tourist in the middle of Times Sqaure, giggling like a little 
girl and plugging away at anything that moved.  IT. WAS. GLORIOUS!

I'm downloading DCS World on to my desktop machine right now.  We'll see 
how I survive.

Being able to look around the inside (and OUTSIDE!) the aircraft, just 
like you would in reality is the most amazing experience I've ever had.

If castAR is half as good as this DK2, I may never leave my house again.

This device is really going to make some huge waves in the flight 
simulation community.  If they can make it an AR (augmented reality, vs 
VR, which is what it is now), diy cockpit building is going to explode.

I'm not even embarassed to have used the word "amazeballs" with a straight 
face. :D

I've got to get the controls rigged in the F-15 again.

Wayne, we MUST get that Air Creations trike rig built. :D
