I should do some experimenting I suspect.  I painted the '109 cockpit 
using a "critter" gun which is the most basic of paint throwers.
Wow.  They went up $20 since the time I bought mine a few years ago.

They're great for un-thinned latex paint.

The only Rustoleum I've seen in quarts/gallons is white or black - all the 
colors seem to be restricted to rattle cans.  (At least locally.)
