[simpits-tech] 7-Segment Displays?

Chaps,
           I'm looking for a way to use 7-segment displays to show a radio
frequency. I was hoping to use the LED-5 from Hagstrom but they've none in
stock and although they'll custom build, the price is likely to damage my
sex life - should swmbo find out.

What alternatives are out there?  7-seg's have always been a pain!
