Guys,

Just curious if anyone knows of any Reno-style air racing mods out there 
for FSX or X-Plane, anything like that. I've seen some Red Bull course 
addons, but that's about it.

I've had a serious air racing bug lately, not helped by going and seeing 
"Planes" with the kids yesterday. I remember a few years back there was 
a Reno air race sim in development, but I believe it never got off the 
ground, unfortunately.

Going to try to make it to Reno this year if I can... It's only a few 
hours away from me now!

And now for something completely different....

Does anyone know if it's possible to reverse engineer FSX addons/modify 
them? Just wondering because I have an excellent DC-3 addon from 
JustFlight, but there are a few things I'd like to change. For example, 
the cockpit has the controls for the fire suppression system modeled, 
the switches move, etc, but the fire suppression system is not actually 
simulated. If there were a program out there that could allow me to 
modify the addon and tweak it more myself I thought I might be able to 
take care of that (I've contacted JustFlight about the oversight, but I 
did not get the impression they were planning on fixing it).
