[simpits-tech] Harddrive question

my PC was giving major issues so I reinstalled windows. I use an external USB harddrive and computers normally label it as drive G. But this PC now identifies it as drive E which means huge problems with my video editing projects because the program is looking for the files on G.. 
 
Is there a manual way that I can make the PC ID the drive as G? The other drives on the PC are A,C,and D.
