Thanks and with this small mod:
[models]
normal=B737_800
//interior=B737_800_interior

The Interior is gone too

Now we go for the EYEpoint up and Down.... this is not possible with keys...
So please, what bit goes for that ?

regards
Frank

The trick is to create a custom panel.cfg file, with no 2d panels at all,
you can then use the VIEW_***_DIRECTION VIEW_***_ZOOM and VIEW_***_EYE
entries to customize the views you create. In this example I move the
eyepoint sideways, laterally across the aircraft, then "yaw" it sideways.
This is an example of what you are trying to do, is not tested in any
way.... but at least it shows the elements of the panel.cfg which are of
interest to us :)

//======================================================================
[VIEWS]

VIEW_FORWARD_EYE=0.0,0.0,0.0
VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=0.0,0.0,0.0
VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.7

// This is the Forward/Left view, or the 7 key on the numeric keypad...
// This part "moves" the eyepoint around... in this case 2' to the left
VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_EYE=-2.0,0.0,0.0
// This is the bit which defines the "angle" of the view, 60 degrees left
VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_DIR=0.0,0.0,-60.0
// Finally, the zoom for this view
VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_ZOOM=0.7

// The Forward Right View
VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_EYE=2.0,0.0,0.0
VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_DIR=0.0,0.0,60.0
VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_ZOOM=0.7

//======================================================================

I hope that helps a little, or at least gives a little clarity :)

Oh and for Brian's 60's Rocket Powered Tin Can sim....

[VIEWS]

VIEW_FORWARD=BUGGER_ALL
VIEW_COLOR=MOSTLY_BLACK

Job done  ;-)

I use the TH2G - and for the windows frame - no prob... I just set focus on
the docked window - the tricky part is to get 75 dg FOV and remove the
cockpit frame from 2D cockpit
When looking LEFT and RIGHT

Crap... you're right. This was when I was experimenting with 3 spanned
video cards and projectors. You create the 3 undocked views, move them
to roughly where you want, with the field of view (or zoom factor to
achieve that field of view) and save the situation. Next go and edit
the .flt file to add the "maximised=true" line.....

If you are using TH2GO... well, then it's a whole new world :( I had
some success, and by playing around with the projector settings you can
stretch the picture to go outside the projected area. Then you just
have to build that overlap in to the view angles for the left and right
views and it should work. It would probably be hell on frames though :(

When I played with that kind of setup I built a PC with 3 8800GT video
cards, (quad SLI motherboards are not overly expensive nowadays) running
as separate displays in FS, that wasy you can configure each screen
independantly and use the maximise command.

Told you the drugs were messing with my thought process today <lol>

Sean, the problem is that in order to get the view correct across a
curved
screen, you need to break the video into (for example) 60 degree
segments
in order to cover that 180 degree curved screen.
