That appears to be the exact thing that OpenCockpits wouldn't provide. 
I'll have to dig into it.  I've got money going out on other things 
though, so I won't be able to buy any of the hardware for a while.

I'll post a note here if I'm able to get my hands on the SDK.  The forum 
appears dead.
