[simpits-tech] Thirdwire Sims?

I have been thinking about making my Skyhawk sim work with a combat sim, as 
well as MSFS, and Strike Fighters/Wings over Vietnam would be the logical 
choice given that they have A-4's in them :)

The question is though: Is there any way of talking to Thirdwire sims, other 
than normal keyboard/joystick interfaces?  Is there any way of getting any 
data back out of the sim?

This is all as an aside to my primary focus of running MSFS, so it doesn't 
really matter how much would be functional :)
