Thanks.  I'm not happy with it, but it gets the job done.  I had to build 
a special movement restrictor plate to keep the stick movement from 
tearing the pot linkages apart.

The limiting factor in all of this is a design that can be built by pretty 
much anyone and with only rudimentary tools.  If this was strictly for me, 
I would've done it much differently and used a couple of custom machined 
parts.
