[simpits-tech] Aura interactors

Brian,
I use several of them. The electromagnetic
"shaker" doohickey is a transducer. I got the Aura
interactors when they were available cheap second hand
and it was one of the best purchases that I have made.
They work best with lower frequencies. I modified my
sound files for gear, touchdown etc, so that there is
a good bump in the transducers.
The best sim I have flown with a transducer system was
Kiko' sdown in Florida. I'll never forget the first
time I lit up the afterburner in Falcon, the
transducer was placed in the middle of my back on the
ejection seat and I nearly jumped out of the sim! It
made me much more aware of my throttle settings!
When I got home I quickly began searching for
transducer and got the Aura interactors because they
were available for about 10 buck each at the time. I
wish I had collected a few extra ones...
In my F-4 I also placed one at the base of the
throttles and one at the rudder pedals, set at a lower
volume setting.
