It stems a little deeper than that actually, but essentially, what gene is
saying is spot on.

BTW, I represent that remark..."single stacked lawn dart crowd".

Roy, from what I can tell from the Beta Innovations website, there IS
support for MSFS via a plug-in called "FSIM".  He's also got an SDK
available that would allow you to talk to his hardware directly -
something that would be useful for use with X-Plane.

My understanding of the issue is the licensing to vendors that FSUIPC
imposes.  AFAIK, there is a good sized charge for it and since most of his
customer base is of the single-stack lawn dart crowd, he doesn't get
enough call for MSFS interfacing to be worth the time/cash to implement an
FSUIPC interface.  Besides, the flight model in XP is better anyway. :)
