  Subject: [simpits-tech] Cost of using a Simulator - 2

  Hi all,

Sorry to send this question again but I was surprised to only get six
replies from the whole list. I still have time to receive answers so I
have repeated the info here. One further piece of information that
was raised by one of the respondents;the sim is a full professionally
built unit complete with instructor station. So now the question:

Q.If you had the opportunity to rent time on a B737-800 fully-functional
simulator (without the motion platform operating), how much would you
think is reasonable to pay? I have been given a figure which is the
equivalent of US$ 30.00 per hour. Please could anyone who would
like to comment on this, please respond direct to me and not the list.
The answers that I am looking for should fall into one of the following:

  1. Yes, definitely would pay this.
  2. Interested, but at a lower price of xxxx
  3. Not interested at all
  4. Not worth it at any price.

Direct email please to <jimsturs at zonnet.nl> please. I need as many
responses within 36 hours as possible. I shall post the results to the list
when all are in. I suspect some other people would be interested in the
  answers.

Again, thank you all for the band-width usage for this question.

  Jim.
