[simpits-tech] Shop has finally started!

I’m not too familiar with the MSFS stuff, but doesn’t Leo have an SDK for
his devices? Couldn’t you just write an app that would do what you want it
to do?

Not sure what PM and FSUIPC are. Plus, it would be hard for him to support
3rd party add ons when the 3rd party isn’t interested in a collaborative
effort.

Hi Jay & Gene
I also looked into using Leo's devices for the 737, but some software that
uses FSUIPC poses a problem. See Leo's comments below.

Hi David,

As I've already mentioned a few weeks ago, my FS software can't support PM
stuff since it goes through FSUIPC and I do not have access to FSUIPC
offsets. So any 3rd party add-on that needs specific memory locations within
FSUIPC won't work with my software.

Enrico of PM did not seem interested at this time to provide direct access
to PM internals.

Cheers,
-Leo

Hoping for a way around the problem

David

I'm going with all of Leo's stuff. His GR and EF are top notch. He and I
are working on many projects one of which is to interface a real RWR to his
Electron Flux. Mike Powell already did it with his homemade stuff and via
serial port so I'm just going to use the amp portion to drive the display
and Leo's EF to do the D/A stuff.

Well that makes about as much sense as a duck with swimming trunks on. :)

That's good to hear. Did you ever get that keyboard connected to
Colossus? *gd&r*

For something actually on-topic... You guys need to head over to Beta
Innovations website - http://www.betainnovations.com.
<http://www.betainnovations.com. /> I hadn't been
there in a while and Leo has gone completely over the edge with some of
the coolest goodies I've ever seen. I think I may be selling all my
non-servo Phidget gear. :)
