Marv, Richard,

Thanks for the heads up on location.

Would be ideal for me to head over that way.

Any chance of getting an idea or finding out when it will be open for public
again?

A long way to come for it to be off-line.

Cheers

Craig

That was last Saturday, but I didn't get an answer as to how long it would
be off line.

The F-16A cockpit is out of service right now. I don't know when it will be
back together. The seat was pulled and the area roped off.

well Craig,
You can always come to Wright-patterson AFB in Dayton Ohio. is it's a
fantastic air musem and the cool thing is............ it is free, they have
the best selection of past and present aircraft from the wright flyer up to
the F22 Raptor they have an f-16A l cockpit made by singer for simulation
that you may sit in and also a Full F-4 phantom cockpit that was used in
the filming of a show "Call to Glory" that you can sit in both cocpits are
fully equiped. also they have the presidential hangar that house some of the
aircraft used by former US presidents from Roosevelt upto and including the
Airforce one that carried the body of President John F. Kennedy back to
Washinton from that Fatal day in Dallas in 1963.

Hi all,

Just would like to get some feedback from you all as to what is available as
to F-16's in museums in the U.S.

I am planning a trip over (work-doing some aircraft pre purchase inspections
for a potential buyer and pleasure) and would like to get an idea of what is
available, as well as where, so as to get up close/personal with one in a
museum. I can remember reading posts before of people getting in and around
F-16 cockpits but cannot remember where these events took place.

Can you please advise of anything that is available so that your replies I
can adjust/arrange my internal traveling to get to do a visit.

I look forward to hearing what people can suggest, as well as advice.

Cheers
Craig "Coyote" Wylie
