[simpits-tech] Controlling synchros

That is definitely one of the ways we are looking at driving these babies.
Gene, do you know off hand where to pick up such a resolver and what they
run?  I'd sure like to get one to experiment with if they aren't too pricey.

The cheapest method I've seen to drive these things is by coupling a 
stepper motor to the shaft of a synchro transmitter.  You then wire up 
the transmitter to the resolver in the instrument and you've got a 
bargain basement "digital" to synchro converter.
