[simpits-tech] Fresnel lenses/screen sizes

Guys,

Is there a way to figure out how small of a screen I can get away with, if I 
know what my final display size is and I'll be using a fresnel lens? For 
example, if the lens is 7", how much smaller of a physical display can I get 
away with using? Would I be able to use a 5" screen and fill the lens? I 
hope I'm explaining this properly. Holler if you have any questions.
