You can no longer get into the B52, evidentially that was against Air Force guidelines. As unlikely as
it would seem the Air Force can pull any plane back into service which is probably the reason, so you should savior the experience. Typically they are installing sun shields in the cockpits of these planes which makes
viewing in the cockpit from a ladder impossible.
At this time fire still undergoing investigation so have no access to site.
Residual heat has been slowly reducing some things that partially survived.
The site will be treated as an archeological site.
Anything that survives has to go out for special treatment.

Temp office set up in Flying School
Storage space for sorting surviving artifacts set up in unused bldg owned by county after cleaning and getting
electrical restored.
New office being setup at commercial hanger where flyable's also stored.
Flying school loaning desks, cabinets etc from their storage.
Eastern Michigan University offering storage space for donated items.
