actually they do have flaps at least leading edge ones and IIRC also
trailing edge flaps.
happened to see one from up close 2 weeks ago and incidentally i checked
that also.

The cockpit recording of two F16 pilot, one with engine problem that
eventually as to bail out. I notice they are mentioning adding flaps!! F16
don't have flaps!
