[simpits-tech] I am back (again)

Hi guys,

You probably haven't missed me but I am back after about 5 weeks of
absense.

I changed jobs, moved to a new location, had to work hard to get every
back in place. But finally most of it is back to normal.

I started my new job at Sims-Instruments and am working hard on a
four-ship F-16AM simulator. I am still not allowed to reveal much but in
time I will tell you all all I can. It's going to be very exiting.

The nice thing is we will see some spin-off from this project for the
hobbyist market, and I can promise at least a full set of working
instruments.

Soon I will tell you about our new SIS product, which should be ready
for shipping in about 6 weeks.

Oh, another thing: people started asking me what is wrong with F4 Glass
in combination with BMS 2.0. Well, all I can say is that BMS changed the
layout of the shared memory and F4 Glass can't handle that. So the
combination doesn't work.

Will I fix it? Sure, but at the moment I am too busy, and I rather start
work on the Pro version. So for now it's only SP3.

That's it for now,

Greeting to you all,

Erwin Neyt
Military Systems Manager
Sims-Instruments BV

(the Sims-Instruments web-site was not updated for a year, but in July a
new site will launch with all the new stuff)
