> Description: 10 Bit Excess Gray Code Encoder Drawing

BTW, for those that don't know, an Excess Gray Encoder is used to measure
absolute positions of a rotary shaft. Think of it as a rotary encoder
that outputs it's position instead of a CW or CCW pulse.
At 10 bits, it will give you 1024 seperate values, 0 to 1023 as the it's
turned. It will give you roughly an accuracy just a little bit less than
1/3rd of a degree of arc. It's a great feedback mechanism for sensing
needle or compass card positions.
