Hehe,

Sounds like you have to share the insides of that with us.
Buttons arent that big of a problem (yep betainovations seems the way to go).
That microstick seems the problem.
Then again dont want to reinvent the wheel.

Biggles.

Whoa!! You are using a real F-16 throttle grip? Did I read correctly that you have built a circuit that takes the data from the real microstick (ala transducer) and converts it to a readable signal (ala POT)? Would you mind sharing that circuit with us. I have a real throttle grip that I'd like to use and the biggest hurdle was trying to figure out how to use the original microstick transducer.

  Yes and yes ;)

EPIC can do what you are describing - that's how we have our throttle arms hooked up. We built a custom amplifier for the microstick in the MILSPEC throttle grip to provide a 0-5V deflection as you move the control - makes it look just like a pair of joystick pots - really works nicely. Makes the Cougar microstick look very sorry indeed.

We have 21 analog axis controls hooked up at the moment and all are working all the way into Falcon4.

  Cheers,

  Mark.

Oke is there a way to convert custom knobs into directx input ?

Except for the known solutions like the cougar, gamepads etc.

Now with all those directx inputs available i started wondering if i could get my origional throttle to

work with directx instead of connecting it to a keyboard emulator such as x-keys.

Second to that it there anyone out there that has the radar cursor switch working ?
