We're at about 120 feet now, but the density altitude is usually somewhere
around 2500. It sucks when you fiddle with the mixture for half an hour,
burning $20 worth of 100LL in the process, only for your CHT to say nothing
but "piss off". I usually just say the hell with it, go full rich, a notch
of flaps, and try to remember to close the windows before taking the active.
