I still have dialup at home on account of the fact Verizon can hardly keep 
analog going let alone DSL. Up one block from me the trunk cable has two 
open to the air inner conductors flapping in the breeze! Repeated calls 
gets nothing.

The cable company (Adelphia) keeps going up on their rates and I have Dish 
Direct for tv. I do not use the Internet enough to get satellite feed, 
maybe when I retire to Pennsylvania.

I am going to stiff it out and continue to use the Internet at work where 
we are fiber optic trunked.
