VNC is your friend here - I use RealVNC reasonably quick and light.  You can 
get it at http://www.realvnc.com/download.html

Make sure you portscan yourself after installing, say using www.grc.com, to be 
sure you're not allowing anyone on the net the chance to control your PC.
