If you have a local F-Glass shop around your area that does custom work, check them out for the ureathene foam, it comes in sheets of different sizes and thickneses, but is quite exspensive at least here in the States.......an alternitive is like you can see on my web-site,.http://www.geocities.com/a_h_sawdust/our_cessna172_simulator.html or to use building foam and epoxy resin.
If we lived a bit closer i'd ship ya one ready built.

 Hi Chris, ureathene foam will be ok to use with F/Glass ,also called engineering foam . it has a dense structure and can be cut and sanded real easy,It can also be made into complex shapes,

OK so im wanting to make a one-off glaresheild for my C172 project. I
want to make it from a foam core and fibreglass.
I bought some glass cloth and resin. I think it’s a polyester resin (its
blue in color)
I want to get some foam but understand that some types of foam will
simply melt (like hot water on ice) when I lay it up.
Can someone tell me what type of foam I need to buy?
