hi stig,
 
with phi being the angle of the arc segment you find:
 
A  = r * phi; (phi in radian) -> phi = A/r
T  = 2 * r * sin(0.5*phi) = 2 * r * sin(0.5*A/r)

If you look at the gif there are two values; A and T 
How do i calculate T, if I know the length of A and the radius of the
circle? 
Pleae help - this is driving me nuts......
