[simpits-tech] Phantom Guns

In vietnam the Gunfighters started carrying 3 20mm gun pods on their "gunless" Phantoms for ground attack. They sprayed an area that was something like 300 Ft wide. Then later on one F-4 FAC pilot for a while got cleared to carry 5 pods on his FAC missions for the record of how many 20mm pods were used in combat at once on the F-4.
