Eek no! thats hardboard!  hardboard, if soaked/steamed carefully can be
made to follow curves quite nicely and you can get this stuff in (I think)
sheets as thin as 3mm.

>From my experience, don't wet MDF - it warps like hell and never recovers
from the soaking.
