[simpits-tech] How to hook up fans & lights??

I use old power supplies out of 386 or 486 PCs (remember them ?).These are
continuous DC output - load or no load !!! I use the 5 volt output to power
the backlit panels ( the real ones). I'm still looking at a method of
dimming these, at the moment they are on or off.
For flood lights and such I'm using 12 volt lamps powered from a bench
power supply. For dimming I'm using those small kits you can buy for
controlling 12 volt motors etc. These can carry up to 10 amps, which I've
found is more than enough.
I'm looking for a similar item for the 5 volt backlighting, any ideas ?
