Have you tried Stamatis 737? I'm just testing it now for my deck. I =
find it much more realistic than others for power settings, fuel burn, =
etc. but as with many FS aircraft the flight model (specifically pitch / =
altitude control) is not the greatest. It's almost impossible to =
stabilize and maintain a set altitude without autopilot, definately not =
like the real plane. =20

For me, I'm looking for an excellent and realistic flight model.

real aircraft for the next phase)

I also fly DF737, and impress with the features (except some bugs like =
the vertical speed control in MCP, ect) but never merged it into other =
737 model. Did you meant flying the other GMAX 737 and config using =
DF737 pit and its features? If so, I also tried that way before.. but =
just for a few flights. So far, I didn't notice any bug in the flight =
dynamics. I just enjoy flying the nice looking GMAX bird with the nice =
looking pit of DF737.
