Mine has NO LCD or CRT on their back ... just put a light source for decoration work.

Didn't I see somewhere that someone cut out the center of a masterpilot 
and used an LCD or CRT?  It may have even been just to allow for 
backlighting?  I can't find it anywhere and of course I forgot to 
bookmark it.
