[simpits-tech] 360' potentiometer?

Bon Jovi my dear simpitting pals... I've a question for you.

By removing the potentiometer and hardware restriction in a regular RC
servo, you get a rather nice geared motor that'll do 360' but you will
have no idea WHERE the darned thing is pointing.

Now... ideally you might use a shaft encoder for this but since I already
have some spare analogue inputs, I wondered if I could rig up a pot of
some sort to give me a voltage proportional to the motors rotation.

Any ideas?
