  Subject: [simpits-tech] Falcon4 shared memory

In our cockpit work, we are now at the point of integration testing in =
depth. Switches and indicators are all wired, analog axis controls are =
working, displays are wiggling, our first gauge needle is turning and =
the EPIC/C++/VB code to make it all talk are in first pass form. Which =
brings us to making it all work *right*.

Question for the Falconites hereabouts: has anyone mapped out =
operation of the shared memory area and the various data elements in =
it??

For example, it seems well known that the Master Caution lightbit =
doesn't update if the button is not drawn on the screen at the time it's =
state should change. We also see "Engine Fire" and "Hyd/Oil-Press" =
eyebrow lights update sometimes but not all the time. Landing gear =
light bits don't seem to update ever. That sort of thing.

I know Erwin has a small list but there appear to be other things that =
aren't listed there that we are running into. Is there somewhere else I =
should be looking for known issues?? We can work it our empirically of =
course but if someone has already mapped these things out, it would sure =
save a lot of time. ;-)

  Cheers,

  Mark.
